Decent enough place, except for a few things. Staffing is a major issue. There's a few good people, the rest seem to be there expecting an easy ride, particularly third shift. Two times the staff left, locked up, two hours before they were supposed to. No staff there at all until day shift. Kitchen staff is another problem. I have a few specific dietary needs, nothing difficult. GERD, gastroperithis, gluten intolerant. I finally raised the roof when I got half a cup of tuna and mayo for dinner, after getting salad for lunch. Had to use EBT to get my own food. One night dinner didn't show up until 9pm. Four hours late. Another serious problem is rehab staff. There's one guy to take care of the whole place. Given the majority of the residents are either mentally or physically disabled (or both) it's pretty amazing people don't slip through the cracks. My roommate was recovering from a stroke, for the most part, his care was great. Needed help going to bed and getting up. That was a struggle, again due to staff. The facility itself is decent, clean, better beds than the other couple of places I've been. Don't expect 5 star treatment, with the staffing problem they can just barely keep up. Good place if you don't need extensive care. I don't know about the permanent resident wing for patients with extreme dementia or anything else.
