This is my first experience with an Assisted Living Community for a family member, and almost two months after my father moved in, we are very pleased. From the moment you walk in, the front desk is warm, welcoming, and friendly. The Wellness Staff has been caring and attentive to our father in every way. There are many daily activities, and the Lifestyle Coordinator does a wonderful job consistently encouraging residents to participate. Overall, it is a warm, friendly, and welcoming community, and we are very happy with our experience.
My mother is in the Bristal at White Plains, and it’s been such a positive experience! The facility is beautiful, warm and inviting. Mom has received such terrific care at the Bristal. Daniele Shapiro, the Bristal’s Director of Wellness, and her amazing staff have so carefully and compassionately cared for my mother and her needs, treating her with kindness and attending to all of her medical, physical and emotional needs. We couldn’t be more pleased.
Moved Mom into the Bristal in White Plains today and cannot thank the entire team there enough. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Rena, Judy and some other team members. Forgive me for forgetting some names, too many amazing people to remember them all (yet)! Warm smiles and exuding confidence and empathy. Then when we got to her apartment, every department showed up to greet us and explain what resources they provided. Michael and Charlie took over from there. I came prepared to have to set everything up for my mom but they expertly handled every little detail like a nascar pit…

I left feeling relaxed and happy that we found the right place for Mom. Can’t wait to hear about her first meal in the dining room and first night! 🙏
I'd like to call out Bryant Shapiro, the director of the Reflections memory care unit. Since taking on that role his work has been outstanding. He goes out of his way to help both residents and their families, keeps us up to date on their wellbeing, is on top of everything that goes on there, and runs a very smooth operation. I'm very grateful for all he does.
My MIL is a resident at The Bristal at White Plains. The friendly atmosphere and attentive staff makes her days filled with kindness and smiles. The activities are many and she attends ALL. She certainly enjoys the daily variety. She is thriving. I am amazed how much her attitude has changed. My husband and I are graciously welcomed when we visit and accompany her to lectures or musical performances. Did I mention how wonderful the staff is? They are outstanding.
The Bristal is such an amazing community. My grandmother is a resident there and absolutely thriving. I work with many residents who live there and love it. The staff is so helpful, loving, encouraging, hard working and friendly. Rena, Dayna, Bryant, Charmaine, Judy and the entire team are so wonderful. Thank you for everything you do!!
Lovely and accommodating staff, lots of activities and support. my grandfather is in good hands!
I have had a wonderful experience working with The Bristal in White Plains. The community is beautifully maintained, welcoming, and truly centered on providing excellent care and quality of life for its residents. The Executive Director Rena stands out as an exceptional leader. She is energetic, dedicated, and deeply committed to both the residents and her team. Her passion and presence create a positive environment that you can feel the moment you walk in. Dayna, the Director of Case Managment, is incredibly caring, attentive, and easy to work with. She takes the time to understand each individual’s needs and ensures smooth communication and coordination, which makes a tremendous difference for families and partners alike. Daniele, the Director of Wellness, is also fantastic. She is professional, approachable, and consistently collaborative. Her focus on resident well-being and her willingness to work closely with others reflects her genuine dedication to quality care. In my experience The Bristal White Plains is an outstanding community with a leadership team that truly cares. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a supportive, compassionate, and well-run assisted living environment.
