My father has been here for the past 5 months in the Reflections unit, and we are so happy with the Bristal. The level of care they provide, treating residents like humans and understanding families wishes is great. They recently held a a father's day bbq where you csn see the light in the residents eyes. My dad had a wonderful time taking it all in. Thank you to all staff at the Bristal.
My family was so pleased with the assistance we received when registering our family member for this community. Candace, especially, was caring and understanding of the many complexities of the situation. She was reassuring and patient as we navigated the transition. Our family member is doing so well in the community, and we are very grateful.
My family and I couldn’t be more appreciative for the care my mom has received at The Bristal at North Woodmere. We are always impressed with the welcoming atmosphere and the warm staff. The reflections team goes above and beyond to ensure that mom and all residents and their families are treated with compassion, dignity & respect. The caregivers are always attentive, ensuring that all of my mom’s needs are met . The activities offered are a great way to keep residents engaged and connected. My mom feels at home here and our family can rest easy knowing she’s in such good hands.
My mother recently moved to the Bristoll in Woodmere. She got off to a rough start in her previous Assisted Living and it was put in Memory care and that’s where she started at the Bristoll. But after further evaluation, she was accommodated with a one bedroom and then upgraded to a suite. The staff has been incredibly accommodating a patient in this process. My mother eats lox and bagel every day and I think maybe every meal. She’s put on 5 pounds And she is incredibly happy now
I recently visited my aunt at The Bristal Assisted Living in North Woodmere. I can honestly say our family feels incredibly grateful that my aunt calls this community home. From the moment you walk in, you notice how beautiful and spotless everything is. The common areas are bright and welcoming, the décor feels elegant but comfortable, and her apartment is always impeccably clean. It never feels clinical — it feels warm, lively, and full of care. What truly stands out, though, is the staff. They genuinely work as a team. You can see how well they communicate with one another and how attentive they are to each resident. They know my aunt’s preferences, check in on her constantly, and treat her with patience, dignity, and kindness. It gives our entire family such peace of mind knowing she is not only safe, but truly cared for. My Aunt can't stop talking about the activities. There is always something fun and engaging going on — music, games, themed celebrations, exercise classes, and social gatherings. My aunt is more active now than she was before she moved in, and she always has something to look forward to. The Bristal North Woodmere is more than just a beautiful facility — it’s a vibrant, caring community. We are so thankful for the wonderful care they provide every single day.

Deciding to leave home and all its connections to family, friends and memories is an extraordinarily difficult decision to make. Life situations often make the decision for you, but if your situation leads you to a place like The Bristal of North Woodmere, it makes things much easier. The Bristal has made a new home for me. In many ways, the facilities are reminiscent of a fine hotel, and the staff is full of people who genuinely care for the residents and do everything possible to help me deal with the changes I have to face. From Housekeeping and Maintenance, to the porters and front office staff, from Wellness and Lifestyles, to Kitchen and Dining Room staff, everyone is always ready and willing to address my needs. They know me and care about me. Is it perfect? Of course not! But, in my experience, nothing ever is. I feel safe. I am well-fed. I am even pampered, at times. Am I happy ALL the time. Who is? But, mostly, yes, I am. So let me just say that my transition from being at home for almost 74 years to coming here was tough, as I knew it would be, but I truly believe that this is the right place for me at this time in my life and I look forward to being here for as long as I continue to feel this way.
The Bristal Assisted Living at North Woodmere Rob Conti Posting publicly across Google It was so comforting, seeing the staff so genuinely concerned about the residents safety, before, during and after the blizzard. I spoke to a few of them and they were staying the night or two. I even ran into the executive director, Dana, Sunday afternoon and she was preparing to stay a few nights as well. This warms the heart, knowing my mother is in great hands!! Add photos How would you describe the price you paid? (Beta)
