4.5 · 125 reviewsMy Mom has been at The Bristal for fot than 2 years now and really likes it. The staff is super friendly and do a fantastic job of making rhe residents feel comfortable. There are plenty of activities to stay busy with and the grounds are beautiful.
My mom has been in The Bristal at Lake Grove since the end of February. She has a beautiful apartment and the entire community is elegant. The staff is very caring, knowledgeable and friendly. Safety is key here which is most important. Definitely go for a tour if you or one of your loved ones is in need of assisted care!
The team at the Bristal have been wonderful to work with and take very good care of my mother, who has dementia and lives in the memory care wing (Reflections). My mother had been very resistant to leaving her home and was a real handful her first few weeks at the Bristal, but the team seemed to know exactly how to handle her and it did not take long for her to become acclimated and happy. The Bristal offers a wide variety of weekly activities for their residents and she is now participating in most, if not all of them, on a weekly basis. The Bristal offers a wide variety of weekly activities for their residents and she is now participating in most, if not all of them, on a weekly basis. The staff have also been a resource for me and my family as we try to navigate the challenges associated with having a parent with dementia. The care staff in the unit are very friendly, kind and patient, and my family and I are very grateful for each and every one of them. The facility is beautiful, very welcoming and perfectly maintained. My family and I are very appreciative for the entire team at the Bristal for all their support and ongoing care.

From the moment you walk in, the environment feels warm, elegant, and hospitality-driven. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and clearly focused on resident well-being. The energy here is exceptional. Residents are engaged, active, and genuinely enjoy participating. I teach chair yoga classes, and the enthusiasm and consistency I see speaks volumes. I also work with memory care residents in their Reflections community, where yoga is thoughtfully adapted to support connection, cognitive engagement, and quality of life. The care and intention in this setting are equally impressive. Wellness, activities, and dining all reflect a high standard and contribute to a vibrant daily experience. This is a review about a certain aide who takes care of my dad. At one point, she was taking care of both my parents, but my mom has now left us. Her name is Lucy and she is probably one of the most caring people I have ever met. She actually went to go visit my mom on her own time when my mom was at the hospital.. The Bristol of Lake Grove is very Lucky to have her on the reflection floor. She is just one of the many aides I interact with on a daily basis when I visit my dad. My dad is very well taken care of, and I am more at ease at home knowing they’ are looking after him.
My wife and I are very pleased with the staff At the Bristal . The assistance is over the top helping my mother-in-law get situated . The place came highly recommended and after meeting the staff along with a tour , it is easy to see why . I think my mother in law will enjoy living here !
