While this facility may appear attractive on the surface, my family’s experience over more than four years tells a very different story. My father was a resident there, so these comments are based on firsthand experience — not a short-term impression. In our experience, the facility has experienced significant administrative and staffing turnover, which appears to have negatively impacted consistency, communication, and overall quality of care. Despite the promises made during the sales process, we found that the facility often struggled to deliver the level of service, compassion, and attention that elderly residents and their families deserve. My biggest disappointment was my interaction with the current Executive Director. Based on my experience, I found her to be unprofessional and lacking the empathy, compassion, responsiveness, and respect that residents and their family members deserve. For families making these difficult decisions, those qualities matter just as much as the physical appearance of the building. Moving an elderly loved one into assisted living is a major decision, and once they are settled, relocating them can be emotionally and physically disruptive. For that reason, families should perform extensive due diligence before committing.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy my meal and to top it all off, the service was excellent.

I’ve been happy here at The Bristal at Armonk. We came here from a previous retirement place in Briarcliff which we had an awful 2 years there and that is why we moved here. The staff is kind, attentive, and truly treats residents like family. The community is always clean and welcoming, the activities keep everyone engaged and active.
What can I say? This place is absolutely stunning, with amazing staff and wonderful residents. From the moment you walk in, everyone makes you feel welcome — like family. The Bristal at Armonk is a beautiful community that truly goes above and beyond in every way. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the building is impeccably maintained, and there’s a genuine sense of care and compassion throughout. It’s clear that the staff are dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for everyone who lives here. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where quality, kindness, and community come together.
The staff is wonderful, they are so sweet with my mother and always talk to her and are so kind!! They have a variety of activities which is nice and really helped my mother break out of her shell and socialize more!!
Reflections, the memory care unit, at Bristal Armonk provides exceptional care for my father with a team that is both compassionate and professional. The Director, Stephanie Grant, along with her staff ensures that my father's needs are met with great attention to detail making him feel comfortable and safe. Stephanie is easily accessible and she works closely with our family; her involvement gives us peace of mind. We are truly grateful for the personalized care and support he receives daily.
