Apsley is a fantastic facility for assisted living and memory care. We recently considered moving mom from another facility to the Apsley and as part of that process met with Morgan and her team for numerous tours and Q/A sessions. Morgan was a consummate professional and caring advisor as we considered the move. We ultimately decided not to move mom for reasons related to her condition. Wanted to express our appreciation here for the love and support Morgan provided to our family as we went through this process.
About a year ago, when a dear family member came to a point where they could no longer live independently, we visited and toured several assisted living facilities in the area. Yes, there were several acceptable ones, with similar features, however, one stood out. And that was thanks to Ms. Morganne Montana of the Apsley. Morganne has the gift of being able to listen and address questions, needs, and concerns truthfully and with integrity. With the benefit of her informative approach, and having our family member join in visiting the Apsley and meeting the team including executive director…

Morganne has the gift of being able to listen and address questions, needs, and concerns truthfully and with integrity. With the benefit of her informative approach, and having our family member join in visiting the Apsley and meeting the team including executive director Margaret Quinn along with other key members of the team - including sampling food from thekitchen! - our family decided on the Apsley. Yes, there have been a few bumps on the road, but this is to be expected. On the whole, the experience has been very positive and an excellent place for our loved one. Thank you Ms. Montana for introducing us to the Apsley!
Our experience with the Apsley was absolutely amazing. They treated our whole family with respect and caring through the entire process. The facility itself was beyond reproach. Everything was new , clean , and well designed. The staff across the board were well engaged and smiling. Morganne , on the sales side were helpful on every possible way. We are grateful and highly recommend the Apsley.
This place is overrated. The problems are not unique to this location. The staff was friendly, but management lacks the ability to inspire. They have some incredibly caring employees. The place has a high turnover rate, so I cannot assume that they were all bad employees. I took my mother out because of it. I would suggest instead of loosing employees, inspire them, tend their growth. You might discover more gems behind the facades. When my concerns were brought up to management, they give a nice smile, but don't do much to address it. I guess all they care about is the money they were making from my mother.
Buen lugar para los adultos mayores
My father was a resident at the Apsley for almost two years, he passed away recently. I cannot begin to explain the gratitude I have for the care and compassion not only he received by myself and the rest of our family. They were able to coordinate with hospice so that care could be provided on site and allowed him to be comfortable in his last days. The staff are incredible and for the reminiscence floors help not only the patients but visitors feel comfortable and included. This is premium care and I can verify that the price is commensurate with the care provided.
I came to The Apsley on behalf of my 93 year old father. To a person, my interactions with the staff were genuine and warm. From the Executive Director, the sales team, the woman at the front desk, and the aides I met---everyone could not have been kinder. I got a chance to speak with a resident who is in the independent living wing and when I asked her how she liked living at The Apsley, she said--and I quote--"I don't like it here. I LOVE it here!!!" She was exuberant about the staff, the programming, the meals. She went on and on with a huge smile on her face. She was someone I met randomly in the lobby while she waiting for transportation to take her somewhere. Residents in assisted living and in memory care looked very well cared for. The living spaces are well designed and thought out. The programs are very well crafted--Broadway singers come and entertain the residents. There is also a relationship with Julliard so amazing musicians also come to the Apsley to play for residents. There was a lecture going on when I was there--which was very well attended. One thing that I found very impressive was not just that the speaker had a microphone so all could hear him, but behind the speaker in very large type were his words on a screen as he was speaking them. If any resident might have had hearing trouble even with the mic, they could certainly follow along on screen. The dining room is bright and large and I particularly liked that the dining hours are flexible and that independent living residents and assisted living residents can dine together. Memory care residents dine together on the memory care floor. I cannot say enough about this place. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a family member in need. Impressive in every respect.
The Apsley has exceeded our wildest expectations. We can’t begin to express our gratitude to this amazing team for the warm welcome they have given our mother, who has numerous health issues. First of all, the residence is just gorgeous — beautiful design, massive windows, tasteful and warm decorations. From the second you walk into the lobby you are greeted warmly by the front desk team of Jessica, Vanessa, Charles and Jose. The front desk team manages every request, helping us with transportation to even reminding our mom of her exercise classes. The entire Apsley staff is just superb! We are especially appreciative of Care Manager Director Michael. During our tour, he reassured our quite anxious mother that they would help her settle in and manage her care. His team of care managers Barbara, Tasha, Nadia, Afoke and Rose take care of all her needs. They are all elegant and highly professional and so warm and caring. Michael stays in close contact with our mom and all of us, even at times just checking in to ask “everything ok?” He’s a true gem and a reflection of the level of professionalism at the Apsley. The nursing team led by Esmeralda with Maria, Jeff and Dominique as well as med techs has streamlined her medication management and is available for a text or phone call for any concerns. She loves her new PT led by Tyla. And the dining hall run by Lloyd and Silhouette is lovely every day, every meal. Julien, the resident director, is a literal angel. He jumps on every concern and has done a lot to make sure our mom is integrating and taking advantage of all the great opportunities. He’s a very special man with a very big heart. Finally, we are most grateful to sales director Morganne for working with our family (with great patience) to make this all possible. The entire team is a testament to the fabulous Executive Director Margaret. The entire place runs like a well-oiled machine and she has a staff that personifies professionalism and compassion. She meets with us regularly to find out how things are going and to make sure our mom is getting her needs met. For the first month of her time at Apsley, I would find myself tearing up with gratitude for these wonderful people and how hard they work to care for their residents. Our mom is thrilled to be there and we are most grateful for her wonderful new home.
