I would like to write a letter of commendation for Addison Of Parklands. Here at the Parklands they provide two tasty meals a day, plenty of recreation opportunities, a very friendly staff willing to be helpful all the time and that's not exaggeration. I'm writing about is their safety procedure that saved my life. It can you be documented because I went to the hospital in an ambulance. They have a wonderful staff warm but they have something of a routine to check on their residence and it's just so happened that I've been in bed. My legs were weak. I couldn't stand up. I was trying to reach for the phone, but that didn't happen and at a time they check to see if you're coming to dinner or if you had your dinner delivered so one of the secretaries Irene called me because I wasn't coming down to dinner. I hadn't ordered the dinner to be boxed and sent up to my room and so she called me and I didn't answer the phone so she came upstairs got in the room and I was in the bed. I was couldn't stand so I went to bed and so she immediately had the ambulance called what was happening was I was my oxygen had dropped badly and I was dying. I was taken to the hospital and it was all taken care of, and so their procedures are not just warm and friendly. There protective procedures and the people around here do their job and because of that I'm still alive.
I have spent a lot of time at Parklands as a photographer, capturing their events and programs, which are always so creative and so much fun. Today I had the opportunity to tour the community with a family member who is a prospective resident, and was reminded during this visit of the friendliness and genuine connection within this community that makes it feel like such a home. I am grateful for this community and the team there--thank you!
We have nothing but wonderful experiences since moving in! The help, the meals and all the wonderful people that live here are friendly and very welcoming!
I recently visited this beautiful community to attend a Soiree.. from the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed from both Staff and Residents. The Community is brimming with care and compassion. The food served was delicious as was the presentation. From the Executive Director to the Staff in the dining room…I was very impressed and would highly recommend this Community .
Parklands is a stunningly beautiful community with a family like atmosphere. Great residents, great team of employees.
Been here since April 2023 and like and enjoy it more every day. Staff is extremely helpful with any problem or requests and that includes the meal hostesses. The activities are top notch.
Had the opportunity to visit this community last week- What a family like atmosphere and staff that go above and beyond to help out!~!
I would recommend the Legacy. We were sorry my parents had to move.
