I toured the 2 independent living buildings. Katie was excellent as she answered all my questions prior to me asking. The facilities were clean and welcoming. The rooms were an adequate size. Both had eateries and were appealing. Thank you!

If you live here you will be woke up by door slamming they're hard clothes so if someone leaves in the middle of the night or early morning the door slams and wakes us up the same with the room for the trash they need to have soft clothes doors here

UPDATE 6/15/25: Removed 2 stars from my previous 5 star review because of the below, and my parents are increasingly unhappy with cuts in services for residents. Corporate is dictating that management implement insulting cost cutting measures on breakfast for the residents. Recently learned they are cutting small donuts in half and telling people to only use milk in cereal. I've worked in hospitality and I know this is like bottom tier Sysco food.

I met more staff and residents at Summit at Glenwyck. I was talking to the beautician and the maintenance people because they were doing one of the apartments. They were all very friendly. The only negative thing about them is they're like luxury hotels, and I'm not a luxury hotel person. I'm a country girl. The residents all readily just smiled and said hi and hello. They had a little continental breakfast buffet out, fruit, cereal, milk, coffee, Danish, and stuff like that. They offer an evening meal, like a chef-prepared evening meal. They have a get-together in a pub-type atmosphere. They had activities during the day, plus they had a shuttle bus to take you around to different places. All you had to do with the garbage was just take it down to a central place, and the bins were right on your floor. You didn't have to go out and put your trash into the trash bin. Once a week, a housekeeper came in and gave a quick clean of the kitchen and the bathroom, and changed your bed for you. Washers and dryers are included, so you could do your own laundry. If you needed something heavier done, for a small fee, a comforter or something like that, the housekeeping staff would take it down to the bigger washers and do it for you. They would vacuum your floors for you, your carpeting, and quickly tidy the bathroom. They take the sheets down to the main laundry, wash them for you, and bring them back.

We would rate The Summit with 5 stars in every area. My mom has loved being there and wished they had made the move years ago. The facility is spotless at all times, all the staff are pleasant and quick to respond to any needs or requests. She enjoys the morning breakfast and socialization. Our Dad passed in the Spring and since then she has been able to take advantage of more activities; enjoying the pool almost daily, participates in bingo twice a week, gaming, s'more nights, the entertainment and Happy Hour. She has made many friends and is so glad she is there.

They offer many activities - exercise, pool, sauna, happy hour, trips, cards, salon (you pay), onsite PT (your insurance or pay yourself). It is a very helpful and friendly community. Close to many stores and bus line. It is an older group ( not many 55 -65) I really like it for my mom. I feel comforted with her living there and feel she is safe. I would definitely recommend.

Only fault is normal frying sets off smoke alarm.

Wonderful community with many social activities, making such a difference in the quality of my parents lives. It seemed nice when touring and was a central location for other family members.
