5.0 · 6 reviewsSt Columban's on the Lake was a very clean place. Their staff was very warm and very friendly. Everyone talked to you when you walked by them and they were all smiling. They were very cordial. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and it's located right on the lake itself. So, the views were awesome. The inside had old wooden trim and it was just beautiful.
I did a tour of St Columban's on the Lake. It was extremely beautiful. They have a beautiful setting right on the lake. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities were very well kept up. The rooms were nice and good-sized. They have field excursions, exercise classes, and craft classes. Before COVID they have cooking classes, I don't know if they still do. They have bingo, things of that nature, the normal stuff. They have both a chapel and a library.
The most exquisite setting with caring and compassionate staff members. We always feel welcome and comfortable. This is a very special place filled with love.

St. Columban's is a wonderful retirement home. My grandmother was there for years and I always felt so welcomed when I'd visit. The grounds are beautiful and there's plenty of activities going on for the residents. The staff was incredibly caring through the years and genuinely sad when she passed away. I'll forever be thankful for this wonderful establishment.
My mother was a resident at St. Columban's on the Lake for nearly a year and loved every day of it. The Sisters and staff were very helpful, caring and thoughtful and were always attentive to my mother's needs. We lived out of town and they kept in close touch with us about my Mother's condition and well being. We always felt that Mom was well cared for and Mom always raved about how wonderful it was to live there. It was a very special way for Mom to live out the final year of her life. I sometimes say that it was as close to heaven for her, as she could get, while still on this earth. Thank you, St. Columban's on the Lake!
