I can’t express enough gratitude for the extraordinary care we received at the Leo Center. From the moment my Grammy arrived, Shay, Jess, Bridgette, and the entire team enveloped us in kindness and compassion, as if we were part of their own family. Their dedication to hospice care is truly a gift, and we couldn’t have asked for a more comforting place during such a difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.💛💛
I arrived early for an appointment today and spent some time exploring the grounds. This is a truly beautiful and peaceful property. The Monsignor Ratigan Walking Path is a highlight, and I highly recommend taking a moment to enjoy the tranquility by the small stone waterfall—it’s incredibly relaxing. The statues, including the Parkes Family Chapel and the memorial markers, are well-maintained and add to the reflective atmosphere. My family has deep roots here (Caluoneo family name), so it was special to see that history honored on the grounds. The only small suggestion I have is that because…

The only small suggestion I have is that because the property is so large, it would be wonderful if there were a few golf carts or a shuttle service available. This would be a game-changer for residents or visitors who may have limited mobility but still want to enjoy everything this expansive and gorgeous campus has to offer. Overall, a stunning, calm environment. Five stars.
My wife went there for rehab for her hip replacement he also has dementia I was having problems with my wife asked tospeak to the social worker she never returned any calls the nurse manager never returned any calls and I went to see the social worker again and instead sent to security staff and it told me I had to leave the facility all i asked for is to talk to the social worker No I have to figure out how to get my wife out of the place
Out of state, tried to reach a relative in St Anns for rehab but not in her room all day, yesterday operator connected me right away to the floor and nurse gave a phone to my relative so we could talk as she's old, demented and alone. Today operator would not connect me to the floor, giving several excuses and even disconnected me once. Said she tried to connect me but each time she only put me on hold for 5 seconds. What is wrong with people? Tried to call to report her but no one answering their lines today.
My father has stayed at the skilled nursing facility 2 times. He was allowed to escape twice and security both times had to go find him. Thank God he was found safe. The St Ann's people will convince you that once you're in the St Ann's "system" your loved one will always be cared for. This is far from the truth. My family is currently looking at places outside of the so called system due to facilities being full or others just not capable of caring for my father. You would think they would be more helpful but they're not.
My mother was recently a rehab patient (12 days) at St Ann’s on Portland Ave in Irondequoit, on the 8th floor, the Browncroft wing. She was recovering from a partial hip replacement & a broken wrist in a big cast. This place is bright & very clean, a cleaning person came every other day to mop floors, garbage emptied daily. Her room was large & comfortable w/ a dresser, closet, cupboards, nightstand, phone, large TV w/ many channels, a large bathroom w/ shower, sink, toilet, commode & a sturdy shower chair. We noticed that Not all rooms are the same, though. She received both OT & PT services M-F & one on Sat. She thought the meals were delicious with a lot of variety, she got to choose her meals. The aides were loving, helpful & competent. Most of the nurses were caring & competent too. Some days they were short staffed, but over all her needs were met and she would recommend this place. We felt lucky.
Great place to live and and be cared for
I toured St. Ann's Community. The ratio between aid and patient wasn't overbearing. They were very attentive and very caring for the people that were there. There are no semi-private rooms there. They're all private rooms. The facility was well taken care of and well maintained.
