Not only did they help me find a facility, but they helped me with my plan to get my family member medicated. Neil Nagraj held my hand while giving me this guidance. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
This team goes above and beyond helping families and communities understand specific needs with compassion and education to help best care for residents with dementia. Every client deserves to be treated with dignity and to receive validation in finding a safe and comfortable place to live; Cynthia's team delivers and walks you through the process.
So grateful for the amazing knowledge and wealth of experience that Cynthia Perthuis and the team at Senior Care Authority - New York City brought to the table with regard to elder care. Invaluable! They helped our family to transition our father from rehab hospital setting to a safe and comfortable residence capable to provide the care he needs and may need in the future. Their help and legwork every step of the way was critical to set us up for a successful move for Dad to a new home and in a warm and supportive community.

Cynthia and her team have been enormously helpful in advocating for my friend who has dementia and is in assisted living. Her intervention with the assisted living facility management has reduced the need for additional expensive personal care required by the program for my friend to remain in the facility. Her ongoing support has prevented my friend from having to leave her placement where she is content but from time to time has exhibited behaviors as her dementia progresses. Cynthia has researched and added additional supports to augment my friend’s day to day care. Her advice and guidance has been invaluable.
Virginia Chambers saved my relative's life. I was at a loss on how to give my loved one the additional care she needed after a fall that caused her to no longer be able to live on her own. I found my way to Senior Care Authority in desperation and am so grateful that we got shrugged off to Virginia. Virginia answered every question I had, she picked up my every call. She walked with me and cried with me along this very difficult and stressful situation. She went above and beyond her call of duty and guided us to a place that we are so happy with. To this day Virginia has become a trusted confidant and I know she has mine and my loved ones best interest at heart. I was unsure if we could afford the senior facility for my loved one and she counted our every penny and came up with a budget and advocated for us to get into a facility. My loved one is now very happy, well adjusted, has friends, has the ability to have fun, and is safe. I can now go to sleep knowing she is fully cared for and that literally would not be possible if Virginia was not in our lives. I'm so grateful for her unrelenting care, it truly saved my loved ones life. I can rest assured that in the years we have left they will be happy ones.
It was a pleasure listening to Cynthia's presentation on how words matter, how they have meaning in our lives. I was moved by her warm and caring delivery, clearly demonstrating the mission to care for older adults with dignity, humility and regard.
