Jenn has been amazing and so accommodating to our many requests and questions. Jamie helped ease the transition on move in day. We are so happy with the staff and are so grateful this place exists. I have been calling Will Rogers a cocoon of kindness. Every single person we encountered there was thoughtful, attentive, helpful, thorough, personable, kind, caring and responsive. From the wait staff to the admins to the house keeping crew to the facilities manager. Everyone goes the extra mile. Our move in was very smooth which was so important at such a stressful time in our lives. There is an abundance of activities and all the residents we met spoke about how much they love it there. Right from the beginning we received all the attention we could ask for from every member of the staff. In a short time we thought of staff members as our friends. Also, we gained many good friends among other residents. We enjoyed meals in the beautiful dining room. The housekeeping staff does our laundry and cleans out our apartment every week. These services mean that we no longer have to shop for food or do routine housekeeping chores. During the time I have been here my wife in failing health had to be placed in a nursing home where she spent her last days. Since my family lives far away, soon I will be leaving this good place to move near my family. Through all of these changes in my life the staff at Will Rogers has shown me great care and compassion, honoring my wife with floral displays and supporting me in every possible way. I cannot say enough about what a good place Will Rogers is. For whatever need I have had the staff has been right there to help. Reverend George Klohck

The staff at this building are exceptional. You won't find a place with a more loving and caring staff than Saranac Village at Will Rogers. Jamie, the administrator of the building has been there for many years and takes great pride in the history of the building, the longevity of the staff and the satisfaction of the residents. It is a fantastic building with so much to offer. The residents all seem so happy to live there and they are full of life. I would highly recommend Will Rogers to anyone looking to downsize. Be prepared to be pampered and treated like family. Jen gives great tours.
Saranac Village at Will Rogers is such a beautiful and vibrant community! The historic building has such character and is just stunning. Jamie, the executive director has been running an impeccable community for over 2 decades! He has a contagious passion and energy for the community, the residents and employees. The other managers are equally as amazing & dedicated. The activities calendar is unlike any I have ever seen; it is packed with many fun activities and entertainment every day including outings. The residents are happy and fulfilled. Even the dining experience is top notch and carefully thought out.
My 95 year old father transitioned to Will Roger’s on July 9, 2025. With the assistance from Jennifer Sawyer, Director of Community Relations at WR, it went smoothly. She was able to share available apartments with costs. Once an apartment was chosen, she was also able to furnish for immediate occupancy. I was able to visit my dad daily for 8 days and made positive connections with most of the staff. I then flew home to Florida needlessly worrying. The entire staff from kitchen, housekeeping, transportation to activities have been outstanding!! I truly feel that my dad is in excellent hands at Will Roger’s. Jamie Whidden is their Executive Director and he has been extremely helpful throughout the transition. Thank you all!
My father recently moved into Will Rogers and the entire process initiated by Jen Sawyer was so reassuring and personalized I can't recommend Will Rogers enough for when assisted living becomes necessary for your loved ones. The entire staff there is super committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the residents.
Making the decision to move my grandmother into Will Rogers was not easy, but thanks to the incredible team, especially Jen and Jamie, the process became one of clarity, compassion, and genuine care. Jen, director of community relation’s, went above and beyond from day one. She was patient with us during multiple visits, never rushing the process. She invited us for lunch, gave us detailed tours, and took the time to show us several apartment options until we found the perfect fit. She struck the perfect balance between being down-to-earth and completely professional. Most importantly, she helped ensure the move was financially sustainable, which gave our family peace of mind. Jamie, the executive director, said something that truly stuck with me- that he wanted me to be a granddaughter again, and that their team would now take on the care I had been giving my grandma for so long. It brought me to tears, honestly. It was the first time in a while I felt like I could exhale. I can’t recommend Will Rogers enough. They made what felt like an overwhelming transition feel safe, supported, and even hopeful.
