The staff is engaging, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and professional. I was given information and contact numbers to admins, directors, nurses, social workers, transport, etc. My father has arrived two days ago and I visited him to drop off some things. During my 1.5 hr visit, several staff members popped in to check on my father and ask if he needed anything including the administrator. My father said that he feels comfortable, safe, and…

Reception is pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly, approachable, and fantastic at multitasking. The building is old but looks good and they keep it clean. The staff is engaging, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and professional. I was given information and contact numbers to admins, directors, nurses, social workers, transport, etc. My father has arrived two days ago and I visited him to drop off some things. During my 1.5 hr visit, several staff members popped in to check on my father and ask if he needed anything including the administrator. My father said that he feels comfortable, safe, and has ample attention.
Donna, the receptionist at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Its nice when you come for a visit and greeted with such a nice smile and kindness. Everyone of the staff said hello and greeted us with a smile.
My loved one is currently receiving care here and we have had a positive experience. The facility is being updated with new paint and flooring, which is nice to see. The staff is friendly, personable, and caring. As with any rehab nursing facility, I recommend family stay involved and advocate for their loved ones. Overall, we appreciate the care and attention my father has received, and the improvements being made to the facility as that shows a commitment to creating a comfortable environment for the residence who are there.

1.A couple caregivers were very kind (especially Lawrence) but what about the night crew? Heartless and inconsiderate. 2.The bed my father was in could not be adjusted and he was in pain from a fracture less than a week prior that was not properly splinted. 3. There was no call button and he was bed bound! 4. No water was brought to him for over and hour until I asked for it. When the drink arrived it was unpalatable and tasted like mold. When dad asked about the water he was told “don’t drink the water”. The next day he was brought the same stuff again. 5. After warning them regarding his arm situation they moved him in bed without supporting his arm causing excruciating pain. Then they denied doing it though I was standing there the whole time! 6. I cant see how the other reviews can be legitimate at all! I took him out the next day, of course they were mad and called social services on me, but SHAME on them for the way they treat the elderly, (my dad is 93)
I am going home from sapphire and I can't thank them enough. The staff at sapphire were warm and caring and did everything possible for me. Especially Jessica the unit manager. And Mariah the director of rehab. Thank you sapphire at meadow hill!
Just visiting a friend. My initial reaction was that it is a nursing home/ rehab center and was just what I expected. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My friend says that all of the people are “friendly and nice”. She is not crazy about the food. Sounds like all hospitals and rehab facilities. Lack of funding affects all aspects of healthcare.
