Rosewood on the Sound

My grandmother has been a resident here for 4 years as of April, and i haven’t had any issues. Always clean, and staff are helpful. I come to visit weekly and when i can’t come , they are helpful with doing a FaceTime call so i can still see her. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a small community.

I went to see Rosewood on the Sound's assisted living and noticed that most of it is clean. It is licensed by the New York State, and there are nurses on duty both nighttime and daytime. They have things for the patients to be active in, like arts and crafts, so they're not just sitting at a table. The person who gave the tour was excellent. She was friendly, nice, understanding, helpful, and answered all the questions. They were doing the heating system for the dining room, so they had to close it off, but we were able to go in and have a look. It's a separate dining room, which was very nice. They also have a beautiful menu. According to my checklist, they offer 24-hour supervision by well-trained and caring staff, three healthy meals and snacks daily, and recreation and therapeutic on-site activities. They also offer mobility assistance, memory loss programs, incontinence management, medication management, and assistance with bathing, personal grooming, and dressing. On top of that, they also have laundry service, daily housekeeping, and short-term stay options for those who need it.

Beautiful community, hard working employees, smells fresh, and residents are stimulated constantly. Very happy with Rosewood on the Sound!

Great facility! Always smells clean , when I come to visit my great aunt. No complaints. My aunt has been a resident for 5 years now.

They are extremely accommodating not only to the residents, but to the families. Very heartwarming Rooms in memory care are very nice! Very well kept, when my mother needed the hospice bed. They definitely made the room without anyone feeling cramped or uncomfortable.
