Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland

My wife and I perform music and song at Peregrine Guilderland. We thoroughly enjoy our time with the residents, who are a pleasant, friendly, and appreciative group, and a true pleasure to play for. It's a happy and upbeat environment for all, including the residents, ourselves, and the very attentive and caring staff. We have observed all staff members to show respect and concern for the residents and their needs. Were we in a position to consider moving into assisted living, Peregrine Guilderland would be a prime choice.

I highly recommend Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland and especially Madeline Forman. I work with them professionally and we often refer families to each other based on the level of care that best fits their needs. Madeline is incredibly professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the families she works with. She does a fantastic job communicating and helping guide people through what can often be a difficult transition. The team at Peregrine Guilderland provides excellent assisted living and memory care services, and it’s been a pleasure building such a strong professional relationship with them. I would confidently recommend Madeline and Peregrine to any family looking for quality senior care and support.

We moved my mother in a few months ago and she loves it. The staff is very nice and accommodating. My mother says the food is great and loves the activities they do there.

The stability at Peregrine is worth noting; many of the staff in leadership positions have been there since long before she arrived, creating a culture of continuity and genuine care. That 'family feel' shows up in the small details, like the dining staff always remembering her favorite orders and the nurses who keep us updated with such thoughtfulness. The staff are responsive and my Mom speaks highly of everone. Aging can be isolating and hard - aging at Peregrine is an opportunity to stay involved in community and make the process easier-even joyful. I am very grateful for the daily kindness and peace of mind Peregrine provides to our family.

Our experience with Peregrine Senior Living has been nothing short of life-changing for our family—most especially for my mother. Prior to her move in December, my mom, Angela, was struggling. With several chronic health conditions, she was not in the best physical health or headspace, and despite our best efforts while she lived with my husband and me, we could see her spirit slowly dimming. Fast forward just three months after moving into Peregrine, and she is truly a different person. My mom is now energetic, motivated, and social. She has made so many friends and has a full, engaging life that brings her genuine joy. Most importantly, she is happier than she has been in a very long time. Peregrine didn’t just provide her with care—it quite literally breathed new life into her. From the very first tour, we knew this was the right place. Madeline was the first person we met, and her warmth, kindness, and genuine love for Peregrine were immediately evident. That passion was contagious, and we left knowing we had found the perfect home for my mom. I also want to give a very special shout-out to Dominica, who has become my mother’s all-time favorite person. Dominica consistently goes above and beyond to facilitate fun, engaging activities and make each resident feel seen, valued, and cared for. The love and compassion she—and so many others at Peregrine—show every day is remarkable. I cannot recommend Peregrine Senior Living highly enough.
