Ask about this communityOrleans Community Health Medina Memorial Hospital in Medina, New York is a 30-bed skilled nursing facility operated by Orleans Community Health. The community provides licensed nursing care around the clock and offers short-term rehabilitation and longer-term nursing home services within a smaller, hospital-affiliated setting. Reported occupancy has been high, reflecting limited availability at times.
Daily life emphasizes clinical oversight and hands-on assistance: public profiles note total nursing hours above state averages and on-site nursing staff including RNs, LPNs and nurse aides. Rooms and common areas sit within a community-owned hospital campus, and the facility is licensed for Medicare and Medicaid. Practical considerations include a compact resident population that may support closer staff-resident interactions and typical nursing-home routines such as scheduled therapy, personal care, and medication management.

I had an excellent experience at the Medina ER recently. The service was quick, my problem was addressed and resolved, and the entire staff was fantastic from reception to discharge. The doctors and nurses were professional, caring, and attentive—special thanks to Jack, Mark, Ivy, and Kimberly for the excellent care. Medina is fortunate to have such a great emergency room. The combination of efficient service, knowledgeable staff, and genuine compassion made a big difference. Thank you to everyone at Medina ER for taking such good care of me. You have a wonderful team!
Second time coming here for testing with my girlfriend who is 7 weeks pregnant, they let me in the first time with her no problem, second time we came around 6 pm. They said no just your girlfriend can come back you have to stay in the waiting room, so I go to the front desk and say hey like this involves my child can I be in the room and they finally let me in, they took five tubes of blood from my girlfriend and left a piece of gauze on her arm with a tape job that only a five year old could do. I literally had to tape my girlfriend’s gauze on her arm because it was falling off. No wonder…

Our community is lucky to have Medina Memorial Hospital in our community. Thank you for all you do!
Leah Brenner and Pamala Eaton have been an extremely huge blessing to our whole family. They are committed to patient care and legitimately listen to all concerns. Never have I felt dismissed or ignored, always treated professionally and respectfully.
Both my parents received great care .. multiple times over many years
I've gone to the Wound Care Center at Medina Memorial Hospital on several occasions in the past. I found the staff to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable, thorough in their treatment plan, and all around a pleasure to be around.
I have had the worst experience with this hospital. Left several messages, been promised a call back and nothing. Edit that woman they tell you to call is the one avoiding me and refusing to call me back
The care I received at Medina Hospital was excellent, the staff was compassionate and professional, and attentive every step of the way. Nurses took the time to explain things clearly. I am very grateful for the kindness and care shown during my visit. Highly Recommend.
