New East Side Nursing Home

This New Eastside Nursing Home is the best in NYC. The genuine individual care for each and every patient is phenomenal. My father is at this facility for quite a long time, and he is home...he enjoys the recreation they bring and especially the attention to detail in his care. I have visited on numerous occasions without notifying anyone I would be present and every time I arrive he is clean, happy, and most of all his room is immaculate. The staff is goes above and beyond to make sure he is well attended, whether it's his food, his surroundings or any other matter that may present itself. Remember that NY has old buildings, and they are nostalgic, yes it's not a modern building but it's clean, up to city codes and we'll maintained. Esthetics are not so important when high intensive care is given to patients. Cleanliness, friendliness and attention to medical needs are whats important in a nursing home. i was sent to this place ,it was dingy, and there were mice running around, and when i confronted the two nurses they said there was no mice, but the person in the next bed said look what are those running around , i demanded that i be sent back to the hospital. dont send your family members there if you care about them.

This place is beyond shady and unprofessional. Their phone line is constantly busy, or someone disconnects the calls, while reaching anyone is an ordeal. There's definitely a reason for all of the negative ratings. I would never recommend them

I put my father at this Nursing home because they were highly recommended and they had good ratings but it turned into a nightmare. My Father has numerous illness and on top of it he is legally blind. My father was neglected and mistreated by staff if he complained, then they did not want him back because they did not have the equipment he required. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I got sick because of how badly he was being treated.

I m a patient at new eastside nursing home, this is my second time here, the whole staff is highly professional, the administration dept very high quililty. The kitchen staff is extremely good ALI & JENZY, I WANT TO GIVE A SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO THE PHYSICAL THERPY DEPT NARDA & JOHN I PRESENTLY HAVE MY WIFE HERE I WONT HAVE HER ANYPLACE ELSE, OUR SOCIAL WORKER WAYNE IS A AMAZING PERSON SUPER CARING PERSON. IN CLOSING IF A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER NEEDS NURSING CARE DONT THINK TWICE THIS IS THE PLACE.
