I went to visit my sister in room 521D and I was extremely happy ,my sister looks so good and happy, her room was well kept and the staff on duty were extremely helpful and polite, and since I'm no stranger to your facility ,I'm a former employee and retiree i was embraced with a warm welcome which really makes my day,
Please await further comments on this facility. But if you need to send your loved one somewhere , this is not the place. I will have more information soon
Martine Rehab provided my sister a large single room for her 2 week stay. Not the fanciest of facilities that I’ve seen, the strength was the staff, nursing, rehab, social workers and food service who were very responsive and professional.
The care provided at The Martine Center was deeply disappointing. After more than a year in rehabilitation, my family member was discharged in significantly worse condition than when he was admitted. He entered the facility able to walk and communicate, but was discharged bedridden, with multiple open wounds, and a greatly diminished quality of life. We were shocked that someone could be sent home in this condition. It appeared that he spent most of his time confined to bed, resulting in severe physical decline. Families place their trust in rehabilitation facilities to help their loved ones recover and regain independence, not lose it. Based on this experience, I believe the Department of Health should conduct a thorough investigation into this facility's practices and quality of care so that other families do not have to endure a similar experience.
This is the worse place I could have sent my wife The staff is horrible.my wife was on the 5th floor and she had breathing problems she would press the call bell and nobody would come to her aid she would have to call me so I could try to get somebody to come check on her. Unfortunately she died there on 11-15-25 the nurse on duty that day needs to be investigated in my heart I truly believe she did something to my wife.ALLEGEDLY
I spent 3 of my best years here!!
