Livingston Hills is absolutely wonderful. The facility is always very clean and well kept. There is a salon on site and lots of fun activities planned. The entire staff is very kind, pleasant, and helpful. They treat their residents with respect and courtesy. My mom was in the memory care wing. Jody, Donella aka Debbie, and Marlene were so amazing. At the end, they were there for my sister and I every step of the way once mom went into comfort care. They made sure we were comfortable and taken care of, as well as our mom. I highly recommend Livingston Hills to everyone who may be in need of…

This is the absolute worst facility to send your family too. I lost my father last night to pure negligence on behalf of superior nursing staff refusing to get my father help after he complained all day that he couldn’t breathe. No hospital no ambulance NOTHING!!!! He only been living there for 4 months and they only gave him a bath “ONCE”!!! Please if you have family there remove them ASAP find a different facility.
If I could give this place a —10000000000000000 stars, I would. Let me make something clear - the nurses that DO work, are angels. Total rockstars. It does make me very angry that there has to be something at the administrative level that discourages nurses from working overnight. If there’s no nurse overnight that means people who have meds can’t get them. If people need to be evaluated, they aren’t evaluated. It’s medical neglect at the highest level.
Very frustrating experience with this place. I’m the responsible person for a disabled man who only needed to be here for a week or two to regain balance and strength after a surgery. They gave us the run around about releasing him for weeks, I’m sure to get as much insurance payment as possible. when the coverage was about to run out they suddenly decided yup, he’s good to go. It was so difficult to talk to anyone in admin and now after release we find that they ,messed up communication with drug store about meds so we needed an emergency consult with his doctor. The place is clean enough and he was happy with the nursing staff.
The worst facility ever. They don’t feed you according to your health needs. Whatever their serving is what your stuck eating so eat it or starve. By the way it’s ice cold when you get it. Sure because it’s the nurse who has to dish it out in between her own work. There is no nurse overnight at times. If you’re in pain overnight that’s too bad because your not gonna get your meds until 7 am. If your a patient who wears diapers be prepared to sit in your mess for 18 hours as my roommate did and no assistance changing her. Her skin was raw! You’re lucky if they let you shower 2 times a week. You have to threaten them you’ll make a mess in your bathroom to get them to use the shower room. The list goes on and on as to the reasons this place should be shut down.
Absolutely horrible. Very dirty, terrible rude staff. Won’t let their patients shower, left my mother’s roommate in a diaper for 18 hours and then retaliated against the patient bc my mom complained to administration. It’s actually unbelievable the way they treat their patients. It’s abusive.
Food is far from healthy. Nurses and aids are rarely here. Those that do work are great and overworked. I would NEVER recommend Luvingston Hills for anyone. Medical care is a joke. The facility doctor is never here. His nurse practitioner is supposedly here 3 days a week but that does not do any good, she is informed about injuries and other medical needs and does nothing. I have been made to be in severe pain because they refuse to give me something that actually works. When I asked to go to the emergency room, they told the nurse not to send me. When I tell them that I want to go to my own doctor I'm told I can't. Absolutely no psychiatric care, many residents that are here have some kind of psychiatric problems and there is Noone to address this with the resident. When I said I would find a therapist elsewhere I was told I couldn't.
I used to visit my father in law there several years ago, I had some concerns then, but never a concern about how his care was being done. He was always cared for with dignity and respect. When he was placed on hospice care we couldn't have asked for anything better or better caregivers. My concerns diminished and am grateful for the hard working, caring, selfless staff there who go above and beyond for our loved ones. I now have the privilege of being a part of the great team they have there. The love, concern, compassion and care I witness daily takes my breathe away. I applaud all the staff there from the maintenance to the housekeeping to the kitchen staff, nurses, cna's, activities, everybody there. Thank you for being loving, caring, kind, generous and embracing our elder population like they deserve to be treated. I am proud to say that I am a part of this team. Love to you all❤️
