They are a true 5 I would give them a 100 if I could. Staff, from top administrators to volunteers, all have been great. No one has ever given us any issues and are always ready to help. It is a very clean senior living facility. There is always someone walking around and picking up. There are a variety of room types- assisted and enhanced, private or semi private, small, medium and large living areas. It is a comforting feeling to know your loved one is being well cared for, as you would care for them yourself. There are daily activities for loved ones to partake of if the mood strikes. I…

I would highly recommend this facility and I commend all those for their professionalism as well as compassion towards the residents and their families.
Would absolutely love to understand why rent is Soo expensive 5k but yet activities are taken away such as the Sunday church day which now just every other Sunday. The church is 5 mins away and now are not taking the residents when it's "too cold". They started to offer scheduled medical appointments rides but request 10$ . You think the amount you charge for rent you would have a bus there more often vrs sharing it with another facility. Food they serve is okay they serve canned food alot. This is also the 3rd owner in the 3 yrs my mom has lived there.
Turned out to not be appropriate for our dad. He should have had a greater level of care, but we gave it a try, was wrong decision! Day he left he expressed chest & stomach pain to me. I in turn had nurse come to his room. Asked her what I should do, she suggested calling ambulance & going to ER. The nurses didn't really look in on him a lot. I think it was more often aides, who were mostly nice. And my dad was not at all happy that I made a big deal about chest pain, nor going to hospital!! He didn't at all like the food there. He had previously been at [name removed] which had tasty food &…

There are plenty of communities around however Maiden Park has the devotion to their residents that I believe most other communities do not have. The care staff, nurses, and office staff are so helpful and knowledgeable
Was very clean to the eye, but 2 different hallways smelled like urine with room spray.
Overall, I think the Village is a good place for my mom. Most of the staff, including the CNA's and med tech's, are very friendly and helpful to make the residents comfortable. There have been a couple of issues where overnight staff were difficult and not helping my mom to get to bathroom as she is wheelchair bound. Issues were addressed by staff.
This was the worst experience of my life. Fortunately I was only there for respite for 1 month. And I left before the month was up. When I expressed some of my concerns absolutely nothing changed. I paid extra for enhanced care and was only given grief when I needed assistance. It has taken me so long to write this review because I was so traumatized by this experience. I won't go into specifics because the list is too long. I don't understand where the positive reviews are coming from unless your loved ones are afraid of being treated worse.
Every time I visit a family friend I feel so welcomed by all the staff. It is an inviting atmosphere very home like feel!
