3.2 · 29 reviewsWhen there’s an emergency but your caretakers are too busy doing hair extensions/braids instead doing their job!! This is what this place has come to.
I would not recommend putting your loved ones in this place at. The staff is incredibly rude and unfriendly to visitors AND residents. I’ve also heard staff talking about bedbugs. The place is filthy. Quail summit around the corner is a much better choice.
I have nothing good to say about this place. My family member lived there and the fact they allow people to live there is beyond me. They currently have bed bugs in which residents have been holding in their hands and maintenance takes the bug from them after them saying it’s a bedbug and squishes it and says “what bed bugs” how in gods name is this a nice place for anyone’s family member . Not to mention the way they treat their staff. Disappointing isn’t the word for this place. Imagine your loved one having to deal with things such as these. I have nothing good to say about this place. My family member lived there and the fact they allow people to live there is beyond me. Our family members worked their whole life and deserve to have a clean healthy environment to live in.

The administrative staff is amazing and very friendly! Amy, the director, goes above and beyond for my mother. We have been very pleased with the care she receives.
My brother lived in the Horizon Assisted Living Facility for 7+ years. It was a perfect match for him. He especially enjoyed meal time with the food tailored around his diabetic restrictions. When he was living alone, his diet was processed food and TV dinners eating and taking his medicine when and if he remembered . His driving skills declined and became scary. At the Horizon, trips to the grocery store were provided along with in house visits with Eldercare Physicians and the Physician Assistant. He had his haircut in house with PT and OT support when needed. Having him at Horizon Assisted Living Facility gave us peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. A wonderful, caring staff kept us informed of his health and his occasional falls. We knew that we would receive a phone call from the nursing staff if there was a concern We don’t believe he would have lived to 88 years if he had not been living at Horizon. And we don’t like to think of our life if we didn’t have the blessing of Horizon caring for him. Hugs and thanks to the administration and staff of Horizon.
The rooms are dirty staff unfriendly food not good cold not up to the money you pay
