Resident & family reviews

My Mother almost lost her life yesterday on her birthday all due to negligence. If myself and family didn't show up yesterday, she would have died. Thank you God for guiding us and getting her transported to a hospital where she is now receiving care. She has been a resident at Taylor's for over a year. She has not been able to walk. Don't get me wrong, 90% of the nursing staff and aids are wonderful. There are always a few bad apples in every bunch unfortunately. How are these nurses supposed to take care of their patients when they are so short staffed? 2 RNs and 2 aids for 30 people?????…

Shame on you Arnot and JAMES MARK for not caring. She won't be going back there after she leaves the hospital.

I, Laraine Schollmann, Daughter of Diana Bucci. In her honor will get this facility closed. It's abuses are immeasurable. This I Will Accomlish,in Jesus's Name. It is done.

Had my Mom there for one day only. Worst place ever. Never gave her medicine for diabetes entire time over 24 hours. Had to pull her out to save her life against what they wanted.

It is no wonder this place only has a two star review. If I could leave 0 and still write a review I would. I can’t tell you enough how upset my siblings and I are with this facility and the staff. It was a nightmare of an experience! My mom was just airlifted to a hospital and almost died three weeks ago. My siblings and I specifically told the social worker and other staff we wanted to be contacted about any discharge and we did not want her going back home. This was the seventh time she’d fallen this year! She was lucky to be alive from this last fall. I just got off the phone with the social worker who told both my brother and I on separate occasions she would call us about any discharge plans. The phone call didn’t come until the day before they were about to discharge her. Then I find out that the reason she’s being sent home is because they deemed her independent. She can hardly walk. She has no balance due to neuropathy. She just found out two days ago that she has end stage emphysema and probably six months to a year to live. Yet still, they are sending her back to her home where she’s fallen several times, can hardly walk and does NOT feel safe which she has told these people over and over. Remind you that my mother was just at this facility and released a month and a half ago for a different fall. Others are right that these people never answer the phone, and worst of all they have no respect for the wishes of the family. I honestly have no idea how these people sleep at night! The social worker dared to say to my brother “well it’s hard to justify keeping her when she gets signed out all the time” WHAT?!!! My other brother would sign her out and take her to his house for dinner…twice during her stay or would come and take her outside for air! So, basically if she had no family, and just sat inside rotting away, they would keep her then!! SMH This whole experience with these people has been so disappointing. The nurses there are great, they are overworked but they are great. As for all the other staff including the director because he allows this social worker to be awful at her job! You people should be ashamed of yourselves. What a helpless feeling they left for my brothers and I and my mom!! Scrambling to find her a place where she feels safe and IS safe. Praying that if she falls again in her home it doesn’t end up being her demise. If so, it will be on the people of this facility!!!

Praise to Chaplain Ted, he comforts my mom, who is living in hell, with substandard health care. My mother hasn't been bout in fresh air for years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years... WHY IS THAT THIS IS ELDER ABUSE! Again after 5 noone bothers picking up the phone. I have reported this facility to Public Health for over medicating my mother so she sleeps. Then refuse to let me speak to her, saying she is sleeping. DO NOT (under any circumstances) BRING ANYONE HERE IT IS A HELL HOLE! ONE DAY Administrator, JIM MARK SAYS SURE SHE CAN GO OUT, THE NEXT, DAY HE SAYS NO FOR SOME FRESH AIR?!!!!!!! HOW ABSURD! Ridiculous Insane Crazy The administrator, Jim Mark, starting the beginning of the weekend, noone is picking up the phone. Unit B is not picking up...again. The night crew NEVER EVER picks up!!!!! How rude and unprofessional!!!!

The therapy staff is excellent. My husband is there for rehab after hip surgery.

Thank You for taking such great care of our elderly. Nurses Rock!🩷
