Be very careful of what the person going actually needs. There is not a lot of talent at this facility of the person going in doesn't fit their exact model there is not enough talented people to adapt. The food is not really aimed at the cliental and the PT lacks talent.

My mom right now is at Father Baker Manor, and we're happy. We still didn't make a full commitment if she's going to stay there. We're just kind of seeing how she's doing, but we're happy where she is right now, and that's where we're going to go. It's very nice and very clean. I went in there and I wanted to make sure that it didn't have that awful odor of pee and all that stuff, and so far, so good. It does not smell. They're very friendly. Mom doesn't have her phone (because it would be difficult to give her a cell phone), so I'll call the floor and then they let me talk to her. To me,…

To me, that's very comforting and I can go there any time during visiting hours. It doesn't matter. Today I was there, and I took her outside and had no problem. They have singalongs and bingo, but unfortunately my mom doesn't want to participate at this time. She says the food is fine. It's just very expensive.

Avoid this facility if possible. So understaffed, patients kept waiting hours for aid. Food is not too good but one could accept that but the level of care is just poor. Not the fault of the people working they try but just totally understaffed.

Bad staff but pt is good. My grandma is always alone or seems to be in bed at 6:30 pm. I feel bad for her. It’s scary here

This facility is a joke and the whole adminstration should be fired! .. where do I began how about the constant under staffing of nurses and aids, the food is a joke my mothers dinner consistented of a peanut butter sandwich a small milk and a 1/2 brownie .... I have witnessed the neglect by some of staff not answering patients when they push the button for help....my mother was brought to the bathroom and forgotten about several times ... And when asked who is in charge and makes the policys all you get is a smile and you have to make an appointment with the director... It took me 2 days of asking staff to shower my mom, who hadn't been showers in 7days... I would not recommend this facility for $10,000 a month stay I feel its profit over health care

My family member was brought food he was allergic too many times. The staff would leave his tray for him to eat even though he needed help. He was force fed... theven Dr and staff never monitored or treated addressed the repercussions of double neumonnia on the verge of kidney failure & thus died. They were careless. Reckless. Irresponsible. Unprofessional tof say the least.

We are so thankful my mother was accepted into this facility. The staff are wonderful, the food is great and the activities are creative, fun and engaging. The social worker regularly sets up family meetings to discuss mom's progress and set future goals. The nursing staff is always friendly, they faithfully follow the orders from my mom's doctors and call immediately if any issues arise. After a harrowing experience at another facility, we thank our lucky stars each day mom is at Baker Manor, where we know she is safe and well cared for.

My mother was discharged from Father Baker Manor earlier this month after recovering from hip surgery. All of the staff were very friendly and the therapist did a fantastic job getting my mom to walk again after the surgery. The building was very clean and the food was good. I would definitely recommend this facility!!!!!
