3.9 · 15 reviewsMom lived at brentland woods for over 3 years. Family visited almost daily, so we really saw what happened there. Mom recieved capable cared - reasonably timely. Staff was present and kind. Food was presented well. A little under staffed when emergencies arise, but overall, good. We were happy with the consistent staff (same, reliable staff every week). I would recommend brentland woods episcopal Assisted living.
The onset of circumstances needing to both find & place my Dad in assisted living was sudden, explosive & under time constraints. My Dad was under extreme stress & wanted none of it. I visited a good number of places and had impressions of each within moments of being in them. I instantly witnessed genuine kindness, warmth & caring between staff & residents. Felt a homey atmosphere if residents were open to it. The staff were so helpful, understanding & willing & able to guide me through the process. The communication with both my father & our family was excellent. I feel executive director…

I visited a good number of places and had impressions of each within moments of being in them. I instantly witnessed genuine kindness, warmth & caring between staff & residents. Felt a homey atmosphere if residents were open to it. The staff were so helpful, understanding & willing & able to guide me through the process. The communication with both my father & our family was excellent. I feel executive director [name removed] sets the bar for a high respect towards both residents & staff. My Dad was not a joiner, but enjoyed social exchanges with staff & residents alike. He came to feel comfortable and more safe there than he had been at home. His wife, while in nearby independent living, also was impressed with Brentland Woods and already feels she will go there, should the need arise.

I could not say enough great things about our experience with the Brentland Woods Community. We found ourselves suddenly & urgently needing to find assisted living for our Dad, but also wanted a warm, caring community where he would thrive. From the moment I walked into BW & saw genuine, engaging family interactions between staff & residents I knew we found his home. Their expertise, helpful & unhurried qualities lent a sense of calm & belonging to our Dad. Their communication with our family was outstanding. Brentland Woods became a reset for Dad, from sedentary decline to mobility & engagement. It became the place he called “ home “. With gratitude, Julie Elliott.

There is an outwardly aggressive Pit Bull Mastiff mix that threatens other dogs masquerading as a fake service dog living at this facility. This dangerous animal is a liability to the residents as well as the owners.
Great environment. I feel content knowing mom is well cared for and staff truly care about her. Appreciate the attentiveness, support and consistent staff.
Their staff team is great. Help keep my father engaged and safe. He has lost most of his vision and needs a good deal of help.
This facility is all about Corporate Greed! They make promises they can’t keep! The new management there made my mother’s experience before she past as difficult as possible. Don’t trust what they say ! As it’s all about taking monies from the elderly and not giving them the dignity. There lease and contract agreements are not true. She signed a lease to which her lease would not increase for a year . Not true ! They upped the rent after 3 months . They make claims take your deposit. They have also lost some amazing people that were there they took the time to get to know the residents that’s not the case now. Customer service is awful / the lack of communication is not only unprofessional, but appalling at best. Please think twice when looking into this place. Looks great , talks the talk to take your monies.
