This place is amazing!! It has been the perfect place for my mom. Everyone is so kind and friendly. The communication is fantastic. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

My sister is very happy there. That's all that matters to me is her happiness. She has friends there and she loves the activities. When [name removed]was There he would go to her apartment to remind her. No body does that anymore.

We visited the Elderwood Assisted Living at Hamburg. I did not care for the levels of those floors. You had to go from the basement and then up to the second floor. The person who gave us the tour was very pleasant. The rooms were small but were very clean and neat. I checked their dining area, and it was also very nice.

The people at Elderwood Assisted Living at Hamburg were very friendly. It's located very close to my house and to the downtown area. The staff was great. They were very nice and very helpful. The place was very clean. The dining room was very nice and big. They had lots of rooms for the people, and it was not all that cramped. They had a very nice activity center in the basement where they had activities going on all the time. I thought the studio room was fine, but my mother thought it was too small, so we decided on a one-bedroom for her.

Elderwood Assisted Living at Hamburg was very expensive. My sister-in-law was in there for a while, but then she got sick. They had a lot of activities there and it's very, very pretty. There's a nice little deck outside that the patients can go to when the weather is good. They had just about everything there. The staff was wonderful to her. I believe she got very good attention. It was very clean. Once a month, they had live music to entertain them. I understand it's quite expensive. She had a suite, which had a bedroom and a living room. She brought a lot of her own furniture. She was very pleased with the food because she never complained.

Elderwood Assisted Living at Hamburg was very nice. It's a very clean establishment. We really appreciated going through that one. We didn't get to see one of the apartments because they were all full, but we saw the dining room and the kitchen where you can have a party if you want it with your own family. The dining room was gorgeous. It was very, very clean. Immaculate, I would say. And the people seemed very, very, pleased with the variety of food because they can order off a menu at lunchtime. All seemed very pleased with that idea. It was a very nice experience. They have studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. We saw the floorplans for them, too. They're very efficiently laid out so that you don't have a lot of wasted space. It's really nice. The staff member who gave the tour was very pleasant. And as far as going over everything, they were excellent. They answered all our questions, and they didn't hedge around anything. To me, it's in a congested place, but you don't have any problem getting in and out of there. And there's parking for people that still have their cars. It's not crowded. They have a beautiful patio that's all enclosed, where you can sit out and enjoy, and you don't hear a lot of traffic noise. That's what surprised me being right in the village like that, that there was not a lot of traffic noise.

My mom moved to Elderwood Assisted Living at Hamburg. The staff is fantastic. My mom is very happy with this staff. My mom is somewhat happy with the food, but she is a fussy eater. They have something going on all the time. They do like bingo, card games, crafts, they go on outings, trips, and community dinners. At this point, my mom has not participated in anything yet. For the value, it's very expensive. They have a very small refrigerator and a microwave. They have an option of turning her stove on or not when she has not put her stove on. She doesn't want to cook, but she could if she wanted to.

In the middle of the village. [name removed] sits on the front porch as often as she can watching the world go by. Most complaints involve the behavior of the other residents. Housekeeping can be haphazard but they are responsive to your concerns. We would choose this facility again.
