4.6 · 68 reviewsI will move into Eddy Hawthorne Ridge, and I had a very good complete tour. I didn't realize there was no washer and dryer, but that was the only little hiccup in the whole thing. They have flooring put into the bedroom because I don't like rugs in the bedroom, and they're just a source of bacteria. They have a regular meal program. What I like most about Hawthrone is that I originally lived down in that area. I had a home down in Valatie, and all my best friends are down there. I'll only be about ten miles from the Valatie so I can go down. I may even be able to get back to some of my…

I will move into Eddy Hawthorne Ridge, and I had a very good complete tour. I didn't realize there was no washer and dryer, but that was the only little hiccup in the whole thing. What I like most about Hawthrone is that I originally lived down in that area. I had a home down in Valatie, and all my best friends are down there. I'll only be about ten miles from the Valatie so I can go down. I may even be able to get back to some of my doctors, even down there, that I hated leaving. It's got everything I want Elizabeth is wonderful. She's very accommodating, down to earth, and a great person. She is there to deliver all these things you want. I like the smallness of that place. The rooms were nice, large, and airy. I just felt comfortable when I went in there. The chef was there for 21 years, so he must be doing something right. In the room where I am staying now, I walk miles to the dining room, and it's hard for me, but in Eddy Hawthorne Ridge, all I have to do is take the little elevator, and I'll be right there and comfortable. I like the feel of the place in general. I can park my car right back by my room and walk in and out easily when I go grocery shopping.

We like Memory Care at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge. It was nice. It was just that the rooms were smaller. It was clean and it was good. But when we saw the other place, we liked it better. Eddy Hawthorne Ridge was our second choice. At the other place, we had to write down exactly all the money that was invested and everything, and it was very detailed. But Eddy Hawthorne Ridge was very loose form. But the staff who gave the tour was very, very nice. Eddy Hawthorne Ridge said that after two years, they would lower the price for the residents because I guess a lot of times their houses were put up for collateral and they ran out of money, and they don't kick people out for money, which was nice.
I have been here 14 years, moving in with my husband in 2010. I wish I had come 2 years earlier. The facility is the absolute best. The employee and staff are the best you can find. I love being here. I feel happy and safe.

Hawthorne Ridge is a marvelous place. I have lived here for 18 years. It is kept absolutely clean in all areas all the time. The staff member are friendly and caring. It is safe 24/7. The meals are very good.
My seven years here have been really great. I'm having fun, have friendly do interesting things and good food. What more can I ask?
I just completed my first year at Hawthorne Ridge and it was a happy one leaving my home of 51 years was difficult and I did not know what to expect. What I found was a friendly group of people who were at the same time in their lives as I was. The building is exceptionally clean and the staff are clearly here to help goes. I feel comfortable and happy and pleased that I made the right choice in moving here.
I have resided at Independent Living 1 1/2 years can attest that this a great place to be. The ILU size makes it possible to get to know the other residents and develop friendship which makes it feel like a big family. The admin dining maintenance staffs are all great. Doing with everyone I know here, thank we made an excellent decision.
Everyone who works for Hawthorne Ridge, go above and beyond. They are here to provide whatever the issues may be. They do it with sincerity and with a smile. this is a great place to live.
