4.5 · 11 reviewsMy loved one was a resident at East Road Adult Home. The cleanliness was probably good considering, staff was friendly, food was good but I don't think the residents needed as much with little or no activity. Staff was constantly changing and I never saw activities being done. Some residents pretty much rule the place, so others had to keep personal items hidden. The place could use an update, not only for the residents but also helpful for staff.
We chose this facility for many reasons - Not a lot of residents. Location to where I live for visitation. Price is excellent. This is a country-side farmhouse facility. It is not fancy, but it is a perfect fit for the right type of resident My mother is very happy here. The staff is wonderful and she says the food is great and homemade. They did a lot for the residents during the holidays to make sure it was special.
My dad moved into East Road Adult Home. I think it's really a good place. It is clean and the people are helpful, nice, and polite. They call you when there's a problem. Everything is included in the fee - three meals a day and snacks. They have a front yard and it has a deck, and then there's a ramp that goes down to the front yard, and it's fenced in.

This is a country house and does not present as an institutionalized setting. Not fancy but very clean and my mother loves it there. Meals are all home cooked and staff is always friendly and accommodating. Large front porch where residents can gather and enjoy the beautiful view. Probably better suited to those who grew up in a country setting and enjoy the peace and quiet
It's hard to put a loved one in another "world," but the staff at East Road Adult Home have been helpful to both my loved one and to me. I would recommend it to other families.
My brother has lived here for four years and never complains. Rooms are great, food is outstanding and staff are outstanding.
The staff at East Road Adult Home does a great job caring for my mom. They treat her with kindness even if she is having a difficult day. They spend a lot of time just sitting and listening to her when she needs company and is lonely, they are so good to her.
I went to the East Road Adult Home yesterday. The staff was very nice. The place was very old. There were only two showers for fifteen residents. They have birds there, and my mother is terrified of birds, so that would be a real detriment for her. The staff I met were very good, she was very helpful, unfortunately, she couldn't answer a lot of questions. The person I was supposed to talk to had a family emergency. She told me I could call on Monday and speak with her. The layout was confusing, it was a home that's converted into an adult home. It was clean.
