I would fully recommend this CFH for anybody that needs some extra care. It is not a place for a senior that wants to be involved in social activities and is very self aware. But for seniors that require some special needs it is perfect. The staff is excellent I haven't had any issues with aids. They go above and beyond what you could ask for. Friendly kind and very caring to all the residents. I am so happy with my choice for my Mom.

We like Christian Fellowship House. It is a beautiful setting, and the people there seem fantastic. We are putting my parents in there together. However, they don't have any rooms at the moment, so we would have to wait. They also have a staircase, so I was a little concerned about that for my mom. It was a historic house, but it was very cozy and homey. We liked the people. One of the owners toured us. She was very knowledgeable, gave us a lot of information, and was very understanding of our situation. It was nice to talk to her.

It was very difficult moving my Dad out of his home but Christian Fellowship House doesn’t feel institutional, the entire staff was so loving and the surrounding backyard is so beautiful. My Dad enjoyed sitting outside surrounded by the beauty of the grounds during the warmer months. He was well cared and I highly recommend CFH.

My dear precious mom was brought to Christian Fellowship House in [date removed]. She had dementia and needed help with everyday living. She had a beautiful room and the aides with loving and very caring towards my mom. When I would ask my mom how do you like it here she would say everyone was so nice. [name removed]is an exceptional staff member and always looked out for my dear mom. I was able to take mom out and she enjoyed outings two times a week. About 18 months later her dementia was progressing and I was afraid of her falling so i would visit her several times a week. The aides especially [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]took amazing care of my mom. They moved mom to second wing I felt prematurely to second wing which I thought was for hospice care. It is very different from the main house and mom told us she hated it there. Mom was still awake all day and most of the residents were sleeping most of the day. One resident made loud outbursts all day which upset mom. Had to move mom.

I feel blessed every day that our family found Christian Fellowship House. The second- and third-generation owners take care of our family like their own family. The staff are the most genuinely caring people I have ever met. CFH took care of both of my parents until my dad passed away in 2023, and now they take care of my mom, who has dementia. CFH gave my dad joy, laughter, companionship, and dignity at the end of his life. Everything about CFH feels home-like. There's a small number of residents, the building is an old Gold Coast mansion overlooking horse pastures, and there's always something fun for the residents to do: meeting a foal in the barn (my dad's favorite), petting the new puppy who lives at CFH, music, movies, flower arranging (my mom's favorite), parties, and visits from the owner's grandchildren. My work colleague, the former Glen Cove Senior Center Director, told me CFH is "the best of the best." I've seen many other facilities, and agree with her 100 percent!

After looking at multiple places to care for my 97 year old mother I couldn't be happier with the Christian Fellowship House. The staff is amazing and very caring and treat everyone with dignity and love. I visit 2 to 3 times a week and always find My mother well cared for. This is a family owned operation and every member gets involved for holiday activities. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We just sit outside together and enjoy the tranquility. It is all I could ask for to make my mother comfortable in her elder years. We are so grateful to all the staff and family members for support. They are very attentive to each and every senior.

That this facility and their excellent supporting staff in my opinion are doing God’s work looking and caring for the memory impaired with compassion and loving care. My sister has been in the Christian Fellowhip House for over 19 months. In the beginning she resisted and didn’t want to be there saying she could take care of herself wanting to live on her own against the doctors stating that she couldn’t live on her own and needed full time care and supervision. She soon learned to adjust and told me everyone treated her well, the food was better than when she ate in a restaurant. She since gained weight that her doctor told her to lose. I can’t speak enough of the supporting staff. I call them guardian angels caring g for the disadvantaged. If you have a loved one who is memory challenged and want the best for them I couldn’t recommend a better place.

Kindness prevails at Christian Fellowship House. Truly a forever home for my aging parents. My sister and I are forever appreciative of CFH owners and staff. Thank you! It means the world to us.
