4.7 · 16 reviewsThe staff was great at helping getting my father's room ready, from hanging his 70 inch t.v. to making sure he had power for his lift recliner chair. [name removed] was one of the head person's there and has taken the time to go and visit my father even though he is no longer a resident at chenango valley, calls us for updates on my father, also when we had to move my father out they had everything packed neatly and helped us load everything, can't say enough how helpful the staff was, made a difficult time a little easier on our family.
My family member had a medical issue and they wouldn't allow her back there to live. The staff was not very nice to her and some of her things were stolen. I would definitely recommend "A Place For Mom" to others. You all have been great! In fact, that is how I found [community removed]. I highly recommend [community removed]. They went above and beyond to help my mother. I went through your service. I thought it was a good fit at the time.

This facility is top-notch in every respect. The staff- from the care-givers to the administrators, maintenance men and housekeeper- are warm, kind and professional. I have not witnessed a single exception to this in the entire time my mother has lived there and between my sister and I, we are there almost daily. The consistent care and compassion make me feel like she is being cared for by family, not to mention the engaging, fun activities provided! I recommend Chenango Valley Home without reservation.
What a fabulous, caring, welcoming team. CVH was truly a gift for our mom. The activity program, beautiful grounds and opportunities for genuine friendship made it home. We are grateful for each special year mom spent there!
Chenango Valley Home was our choice for assisted living accomodations for Ms. Janet. From our very 1st visit to our last days there, we couldn't have been any happier! It was our number one choice for Ms. Janet's placement after multiple visits to other assisted living options. We knew it before we even left the parking lot after our first visit. Kim C. was an awesome tour guide and ambassador for CVH. She and the rest of the team at CVH were always accomodating, understanding, compasionate and friendly. The maintenance staff was so helpful moving in and moving out. They even helped hanging up pictures and setting up the new TV. The staff on all shifts were always helpful and if not immediately available they responded to my concerns and returned my calls in a timely fashion. I am always sharing our expierience when ever the opportunity arises when discussing elder care options with family, friends and anyone else who crosses my path.
My father had great care here. There are many activities for the residents. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and responsive to any concerns. I don't think we could have found a better place for my father.
