The food has been fantastic. It's a great variety and I always clean up my plate. The rehab facility is extraordinary. They always get me up to the gym pretty much every day and I do the arm cycling and the stair climber at my own pace. Victor always comes by to help me with any questions or something I'm struggling with. I do the activities as much as I can. They have the bingo and slideshows that I love going to. There is also live music at lunchtime almost every day in the dining room, but it's nice to have the option of eating in my room, which I almost always do. They deliver and clean…

They deliver and clean up the meals very timely. One of my favorite things is that every day at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, they deliver ice cream for me right to my door. I also have been able to get outside and enjoy the weather when it's nice. Christina in therapy goes the extra mile to make sure we're happy and getting what we need. I love Cedar Manor and have no complaints. It's a really nice place.
The nurse Angie Lyons just made my life so much easier. All of the nurses have been very good. Every day, she made my bed and did things going above and beyond like opening my milk and some other things that I couldn't do myself. There's a nurse here at nighttime too that does everything for me without me ever having to ask. Before Cedar Manor, when I was at the hospital, the alarm would go off all the time, and I had to wait super long for someone to help me get to the bathroom. Thankfully, nothing like that happens here at. Natalie, my former roommate would get agitated and ring her bell…

Thankfully, nothing like that happens here at. Natalie, my former roommate would get agitated and ring her bell and the response time was very good. The food is excellent. I always look forward to the Chicken Marsala. I really love the breakfasts (wish I could have breakfast every day). In therapy, it started out slow, but as soon as they built up the confidence in me, it ramped up and they had me moving as much as I could. They even got me motivated to do all the therapies that I could in my room, like the leg lifts and arm circles, which really ended up helping a lot. At first, I thought they were being too easy, but then I realized that they were just being cautious and didn't want me to take a step backwards. My sister came to see me and said she couldn't believe I was walking and the progress I made. There are so many activities, and Marilyn always gets me up and going! The staff really makes a difference, and I would recommend this place to anybody.
Ms. Dorothy D'Amelio is my best friend, and I am here with her at Cedar Manor just about every other day. She's been eating very well and getting stronger. She also does therapy and is getting more and more consistent with it. Everybody has been very attentive. I asked her today if anything was wrong or if anybody was ever mis-treating her and she said definitely not. Even the bruises on her arms from the other facility have been healing and her skin is looking great now. Rina has been very proactive with the financials and paperwork which has taken a lot of stress of my shoulders. Cedar…

They have me always do the the therapies for legs, arms, and the bar exercises. They put the weights on my legs and are very helpful. I like to go to the bingo. I like the cereal and I can have my cookies on the side which is great!
I have to say that the staff is very compassionate and caring towards my mother in law and they like to communicate how she's doing. She worked as a nurse's aide and is familiar with the setting and is very happy with the care. The food is good as well and feels like it is home cooked. Everybody knows who you are when I walk through the door and makes me feel at home. I see a considerable difference here with Kellyann from the last time we had someone here.
It's very good care and I am very pleased with the physical and professional therapy. It is also a very clean environment, and they have all the specialties here in case you need something. When you have a nice roommate like I do, it is very encouraging. Other than having more personnel over the weekend, I think it's a great place.
People are nice. I get my meds on time. Whatever I need is always provided. The call bell sometimes has a little bit of a wait but asides from that I have no other complaints. There are times, though, that I have gotten an immediate response. Also, the place is very clean.
I think that by and large the aides are lovely, personable and responsive to your needs. I have found them to take an issue to the next level to get things resolved. The TV hadn't been working so well but someone was sent right away to get it taken care of. The staff came the next day to add the railing for me. I love the garden and the view. They have some great activities that I've been to, as well. Judy, the social worker, was on top of getting me any info that I needed. I could barely walk with a walker, but since coming back I can now use my walker and my cane.
