Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

After multiple attempts to get my mother admitted to Carillon Rehab, she was repeatedly denied despite being exactly the type of vulnerable patient a rehabilitation facility should be willing and prepared to help. For a center that advertises experience with Parkinson’s and dementia patients, the complete lack of compassion, urgency, and accountability was shocking. What stood out most was the unprofessional communication. Director of Admissions Britney ignored repeated calls and never returned messages, leaving our family completely in the dark during a medical crisis. Instead of helping a vulnerable elderly patient in need of rehabilitation, the facility appeared focused on avoiding any case that might require extra effort or care. Our experience was deeply disappointing, and I would strongly caution families before trusting this facility with a loved one.

My sister handled most of the details in getting my parents admitted into Carillon. But from the feedback I got from her and my parents, they were pleased with the care they received. My Mom has been in several rehabs over the last few years and her recent stay there, she had far less complaints than she did in some of the other places. I also feel that Carillon helped work with me and sister through some difficult issues regarding my parents health and truly understood what we were/are dealing with in getting them the care they need. They truly showed a tremendous amount of care and understanding so Thank you for that assistance.

The caring, attentive staff at Carillon generate a monthly Therapeutic Recreation Calendar which schedule inspiring events every day for residents. For instance, listening to the very talented Georgie, a one man band who sometimes entertains at The Carillon.

This place provides little to no attention or care to its patience. Poor patients wait for someone to attend to their needs and the aids + nurses feel no urgency for their patients. A poor lady called for water 3 times, before having someone finally get her what she needed. Do not take your loved one here.

We were very happy with Carillon rehab. My father is 94 and had caring aides attending to him and were responsive when needed. The PT, OT and speech services were excellent. Anthony was extremely helpful guiding us through the whole process. My father really liked the food! :)
