The staff is kind and caring. The environment is warm and welcoming. My mother had wonderful care here. We were so grateful to the entire team at The Ridge.
My mother loved this place. Made her very happy.
This assistive living facility is in a pleasant, countryside setting with a horse farm next door. The interior of the building itself is pretty, but you will be most impressed with the majority of staff there being caring, friendly, and responsive. At this moment in time, this is a good place for your elderly loved one to live without family feeling too guilty compared to many other ALFs that aren't faring quite so well.
Camillus Ridge Terrace is beautifully decorated for the Christmas season! Call to schedule a tour and check out all we have to offer!
Amazing service and the staff is extremely professional.
I wasn't too impressed with Camillus Ridge Terrace. It's very small. They have a dementia center, which didn't seem all that exciting. It wasn't a bad place, it was a nice looking community, but it just wasn't a good fit for my mom… They showed me the dementia ward and told me that's where my mother would have to go to start. I didn't like that. I don't want my mother to start there. That is what turned me off about the place. Also, they didn't accept all pets; they accepted cats only. Plus it was small, and there were not enough people there.
At Camillus Ridge Terrace, the people were very nice. The facility looked nice; the bedrooms didn't seem like hospitals. They were a little bit homier and a little bit less institutionalized.
My mother is already settled in Camillus Ridge Terrace. What I like most about this one is the location, just because all of my family is already out in Camillus, so having her nearby is nice. The residents, when we were touring, all seemed very happy and they have activities happening all the time, so that's huge. They have music pretty much every day, which I know makes my mom happy. They have movie nights. In terms of the general atmosphere, everything is clean, neat, tidy and welcoming. The staff seems attentive. My mom has been there for a month and they all know her by name.
