I can’t say enough about how awesome the staff is at Braemar Medford They continually excel in all areas of Care. The administration is doing a great job there. This commitment to excellence is hard to find these days in tertiary care
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your entire staff for the excellent care. My husband, and his siblings are appreciative and most importantly impressed with the care that your staff provides to their mother. Maria has received care in other assisted living facilities, but by far, Braemar, has provided the best care. The entire staff manages her with competency and compassionate. Thanks again, for your leadership and the care your team provides to Maria each and everyday.
We had such a wonderful experience working with Jean Macedonio - Admissions, during our search for assisted living for our mom. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to help our family with the tour, paperwork, and every question we had along the way. Her warmth, kindness, patience, and genuine compassion made a very emotional process so much easier for all of us. Although family ultimately decided on a different arrangement, with one of Mom’s daughters taking her in, we felt it was important to recognize how incredible Jean was throughout the entire process. She treated us with such care and dedication, and we truly appreciated the time and effort she gave to our family. Jean is a true professional with a caring heart, and anyone working with her will be in wonderful hands. Thank you again for everything you did for us — we are very grateful.
My friend was in this facility. She was treated so poorly. I witnessed an aide smack my friends diaper on the wall. Saying she needed to change her now. My friend was winded do to 40 pounds of water in her. Braemer was not doing anything to help her with health deteriating. They pushed her out by allowing the water to get bad. She passed out . At hospital they took 40 pounds of water out. She is in a different place now.
My mom has been a resident of Braemar Assisted Living in Medford since 2012 The administrators and staff could not be nicer, especially Tracey Moody the director of the facility. They are very accommodating and kind to their residents and families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is very attentive to the needs of the residents at that facility I would highly recommend Braemar Assisted Living at Medford to anyone who is looking to place a loved one in such a facility for that type of care
My sister just visited our Dad at Braemar and informed us that under his bed and recliner chair she found: food crumbs, dust bunnies, coins, tissue, tic tacs, and a medication pill. His dentures were also filthy. A pair of soiled pants were also found. Really? Seriously? This is elder CARE?? We pay a lot of money for him to be there and we expect a clean environment and for his needs to be taken care of appropriately. Care seems to be declining, both in his physical environment and his healthcare. We have decisions to make. Shame on housekeeping management and nursing management for not being on top of this.
Jean Macedonio, Admissions Coordinator at Braemar at Medford was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the process of moving my mother into assisted living. We really appreciate her support and guidance.
My Mom and her fiance moved in last September 2024 from the time they moved in their room has been horrible. Nothing was done for the moment they moved in in their room. I had to fight to get the bathroom tub fixed that water was piling up in it, and they both kept falling in and out of the tub. This went on for months before something was done. The rug in their bedroom is full of fecal matter and urine from other people that were in there before them. They can’t even walk on the carpet with their bare feet. It is disgusting. The refrigerator was never cleaned out they had to fight to get a new microwave and ended up paying for the one they have now in their room. The sink that they have has white stuff all over the faucets. I am beyond myself with anger, hurt, and exhaustion for my mom and her fiancé. They don’t deserve this. They pay $3000 a month for that bedroom that they are in 90% of the time Tracy the manager there won’t even come out so I can see what she looks like or have the decency to talk to me and my family about what’s going on there. She won’t even talk on the phone. That’s Totally Unacceptable. The Case Manager Taylor is amazing. Absolutely amazing. We love her. She does everything she’s supposed to do and beyond Jean is amazing as well. She did everything she had to do to get them in their comfortably and the right way. I am going to be forced to go to the State and report this issue. If nothing is done quickly ASAP I have been kind patient and very understanding about this matter. We are talking one year later exactly September 2024 actually it’s more than a year its October 1st now of 2025. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are rats outside the building that people have sat down and felt the tale of a rat go around their foot. There are loads of bees in the back of the building, where people sit and nothing is being done about that either. There was a sheet on the bed that my mom never took off because she put a mattress cover over it. The other day she took it off for the first time and fecal matter was on it and it wasn’t her or her Fiance’s. Needless to say how Upset she was as her Fiance and I am for her. This place actually changed my mom’s personality, for the worse. She is very sick since I’m 10 years old, I’m now 55. Too much to even write on here. I thought I finally found her a place to live in peace and be safe and happy. This unfortunately will be her last place because she has Medicaid and there aren’t any other places that are nice either. I thought this was the one. Don’t be fooled by the appearance when you pull up and go inside like I was. The mattress they gave them is as hard as a rock. I’m at my Witt’s End. I don’t know what else to do to advocate for my Mom and her Fiance. Can Anyone Of Authority PLEASE HELP me and my Family? I’m sick myself and I’m Totally Lost, Very Mad and Very Frustrated. DONT GO to this Facility 😢😡
