Mom is treated to lots of activities that stimulate her. They know how to handle her when she gets agitated. They decorate for each season and get residents involved. With arts and crafts. And cupcake decorating.
5 star facility, amazing staff who truly care! This is a beautiful home for your loved ones. Amazing food and plenty of activities throughout the year!
The staff is exceptional! Mom has been living at the Atria Bay Shore for 2.5 years. She is very happy. The food is very good too! There are many activities with a movie in the movie theater twice a day. There are outings she can sign up for. She went on the trip to Jones Beach to see the lights at Christmas time. A great time was had by all! I, as well as my family, are very happy!
Friendly and caring people
A lovely and welcoming community. Although I have my husband at another place, Atria was not close enough to my home. Dedicated and friendly staff.
This place is one of the worst places that i have seen, the staff are treated terribly and everyone is on there phones. As well as nobody cares for the Life Guidance Residents instead they ignore and give dirty looks when they are in need of help. There are worms in the coffee as well which shows how dirty this place really is. If you are looking for care i recommend somewhere else.
Atria Bay Shore was a nice community. The people were friendly. They had plenty of amenities and things. The staff was knowledgeable. They gave me some cannolis when I left, and they tasted good. It's a nice community. It seems pretty small, but there are lots of places to go in and plenty of services.
I sold my parents on the Atria under false pretenses which I am extremely disappointed about. We were told about a discount that actually my parents do not qualify for and I think they knew that and sold us on it anyway ….with that being said it is a great place for them and they are very happy there and I don’t want the poor actions of administrative people to reflect on the rest of the facility. The people that are hands-on and involved in the day-to-day functions of the facility are wonderful. The food is wonderful and my parents are very well cared for..
